Celina Bug Parade

So the first grade class had to do a "bug" project. We had to collect and creatively display 10 different bugs. Luckily for us, someone told us about this last year and every now and then, I would throw a bug in the freezer...we had collected about 5. The bugs are just now starting to come out, so we were able to get 10 different ones, and this is what we came up with....

Amazing what you can do with a box, some toothpicks and a hot glue gun.....

 Bella worked really hard, she did all the labels and most of the painting...

 It was actually kinda gross, I had to handle the bugs, because of the hot glue....I realized I dislike them just as much dead as alive...they are just gross, then they started to defrost and they stunk!

 And of course, everyone has to paint.....especially this lil one!
