Go Away....Rain

We hunkered down for this ginormous storm last night, that was headed our way, and then it turned South...which was fine by me! But today, dreary, cold, gray and depressing, calling for rain this afternoon, all night....so this is my view...

Remind me again of Why I live here? I miss the sunshine...

First Ever

Last night Scotty had a FIRST....He hit his FIRST Home Run!!!It was so awesome....It was his LAST pitch, and he cracked it!! Don't mind my blurry pics, I was on the other side of the dugout, and was not prepared for the mayhem..so in turn the pics do not justify his moment, at all!!

It was so great, he was so excited...and I learned that my husband said in all the years he played baseball, as much as he wanted to get a home run, he never did....aw..

This morning, Bella wanted her hair curled it is so pretty...But after she left for school, Brynne asked me if I would "do her hair with that thing like Bella's?"...(the curling iron) She looked A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E, and sssoooo big!

Sweet Girl...Off to run her to school...Open House tonight and Bella's softball practice..But we are headed for another storm, so they say...We will be cleaning out the garage this morning, be a little more prepared!

Softball....Baseball....and a Dinner ALONE

We are trying to adjust to the everyday different crazy weather...but it is HARD...Real Hard. I think I took for granted the "California" weather, and I miss it, ALOT. We had Baseball for Scotty Saturday morning, and I wore thongs, my feet were frozen! But is was good, I finally got to go to his game! They lost by a point or two..but they had a lot of fun and I got a few pictures..Next time I will get in the dug out, when I am not covered up with a jacket and a blanket!!

This one Scotty hit a far really good one, only to be caught by one of his really good friends on the opposing team, Jackson...he is a great player and very sweet boy! But what a bummer...only in a small town!!

Bella had softball in McKinney in the afternoon, so at least it warmed up! Daddy owes her a dollar, she made it around to home, and that was the deal!

 The girls are doing really good...they have won all three games!! Yay!!





And then there is Brynne pestering Daddy as he is trying to watch the game....haha!!

Scott and I were able to enjoy a dinner out with no kids that night! Finally it seems like forever, a date night, what is that? I ate so much I felt sick, and I wonder why I need to lose weight..um...hellooooooo...

Am setting Goals, Ones that I need to try to adhere to, I have GOT to lose 15 pounds, this is getting ridiculous!!

Giving big Props to my Bestest Friend Melissa at home, she has lost 11 pounds...Yay!! Am Sooooo happy for you! I miss you and wish I was still next door! (You could encourage me) haha...

Running out to pick up Bella, Scotty was not feeling good today, so I picked him up early...

Very Crazy Weather

Last night it stormed...again. The sky was like a strobe light and then IT started...terrible rain and hail. Yes I am the girl from California, in her robe at 11:30 at night out picking up "proof" to show my children and out of town husband....

Yes my friends that is a nickel and that is hail. Now Thankfully no damage was done to my car, that sits out because our garage is too full of crap to get actual cars in there.... I guess you already figured what we are doing this weekend, huh?

On another storm note, today the wind was down right ridiculous, there is simply no reason for it to blow like it has all day...As I sat on my couch about 20 minutes ago, looking for a movie to watch with the kids, Brynne looked out the window and asked if we got a new play set....then began to cry...because she saw this....

Another thing to add to the to do list....Good times.....Are you kidding me?

Thank God it's Friday.....



It's ALWAYS Something...

So Sunday night we had a HORRIBLE storm, unlike anything this girl from California has ever seen. The rain was coming down so hard, when you looked outside, everything was a blur! We had small hail hitting the glass window in our bathroom, we did not sleep well for about 2-3 hours until it stopped...

We had plans to get a few things done Monday, until we got a call from the storage places where we store our work trailer and our RV, both in Prosper at different places...They said they had golf ball size hail, the night of the storm, there are lotsa cars, windows and rv's with damage.. So we went to assess it.

Not Good, But could have been worse!

Our RV has a good amount of damage to the door and the under areas that are used for storage, it looked like someone took a pellet gun to it! Because those parts are metal/aluminum, not fiberglass, they are dented...

The work trailer, well thankfully it is just that. The back was again pelted along with the roof, and all the lights were broken...Believe me when I saw that is MILD in comparison to the other ones we saw...

So today I was so lucky to take Daisy to the vet, for her stinky ear, and that stinky ear cost me a whopping $161.79 cents...For the love of God, it's like another having another kid, that I could have lived without!

The weeks off to a Fabulous start, hopefully it gets better!

Crazy Cats

Saturday Bella had her first softball game, actually 2, back to back! It was fun, they won both games...she was very excited. She is already asking me, if she can play again next year...

There was a little drama with the other coach, who was using a soft T ball type ball, which was not what we were using or what the league said, so she showed them by whoopin em' when we got up to bat....

Bella was a little nervous actually, she started to cry when she got up to bat...I was sad...when she hit it and took off running, she left that fear behind her in her dust..I think she was nervous, and so I asked her, and she said that everyone would be watching her, so she was scared... She did great though, I think she will do really well in this!

 After the game, a little hot, a little sweaty, very tired and hungry!!

These girls did great! it was a lot of fun and I am so proud of Bella, she is a very determined and dedicated in whatever she does...I love that about her, even when she argues with me...

A few posts behind...as usual!

So I am behind, not that that is anything new...but I am behind! We had a busy week with all the stuff we had done..Nicholas left on Wednesday and it feels like it has been nonstop since then!!

 Ok...so I need to deal with the red eye issue..I thought I had the red eye reduction on, on my camera..either way if I would take time to do a small amount of editing before I put my pictures up...I am sure they would look a little better! haha

Thursday was a crappy day for me...really crappy! I had not been feeling well the last 4-5 days, having a headache, but only on one side of my head (the right) and on Thursday it was at a point that I could not take it anymore, and I was starting to get scared. We got the kids to school and then headed to the ER...I am fine (thankfully) They said it was some type of muscular skeletal headache. They did a CT scan and it was fine..however they did give me a shot for the pain and a couple more pain pills on top of that...I was feeling very fine when I left there....

Key words being...."when I left there"

I explained to the ER Dr. that I am pretty sensitive to pain meds, and that out of the surgeries I have had I typically only do Motrin. He explained that the meds he prescribed (and gave me) are very mild and only about 11% of people react to then, with nausea and what not...

That should have been my clue, the 11%..I always fall into the small percentage category! So by 1 pm, I was no longer feeling "very fine" and I felt horrible! Again Thank You God my husband was home, he ran and got Brynne and the other kids, and I went to bed....The fun did not end there, when he got back I stayed asleep for a while.. then decided maybe I just needed to eat something. We ventured out in separate cars, before we left I did throw up in the yard, and I actually felt better and thought that was the end...

Oh no my friends that was just the beginning...Got to Ernesto's (yummy mexican food) and threw up, got Bella to my sweet friend Abby's (to take her to dance), then got home, threw up some more and went to bed at 6:30.....That was the extent of my evening...

It was NOT good.

So Friday I volunteered to help out with Fun Day at the kids school, and I was hoping I felt good, and yes I made it! Scott came with me to help, it was all outside and there were stations of fun activities, water games, bounce houses and lotsa fun for the kids!! Scott and I manned the water relay...we got to see Scotty's class come through, and I snapped these pics....

It was a lot of fun! We did not get to see Bella because her class, being first grade, was on a different schedule..we did go in and see her before they ate lunch and then headed out..we had a lot of stuff to do!!

We had NO milk in the house, needed groceries and I wanted a few hours to shop for my new found fun business.......

I AM SO EXCITED!!!!! I love these hats!!!! I had people stopping me all over, out at Hobby Lobby, JoAnns, the grocery store, the kids school...and YES I make them for other places (not just Celina) I am in the process of getting them up done and in my Etsy store...I am just a little overwhelmed right now!! Woo!
