By the way...Kenny Chesney surprised everyone at our High School pep rally on Friday...he came here, when a radio station said they would be at the HS for the pep rally, and would like to see if he could donate some footage or a video...he said he would but that he actually wanted to be there!! How cool...It was not planned or anything, I guess someone saw him in town at Lucy's and word spread fast...Pretty exciting for the kids who play football, I can't wait to see the documentary he did...

Prepare yourself...this is all about Football Practice

So I took Scotty to practice tonight, and brought my camera along...for one I always need practice, and for two, the season will soon be over and I want to have pictures of it all.....here goes..

waa laa...I told you it would be a lot of pictures!! I was getting my practice in as well, mine just was from a chair not out on the field!! haha..anyways, it went good tonight, I felt like Scotty got a lot of one on one, pointing out out what he needs to work on, and that is what he needs!! I am beat tired though, we ate Sonic for dinner, now my stomach hurts!! Still fighting the sore throat....By the way, the tarantula is going to school with Scotty tomorrow, then he will be set free by Anthony...There is no way I can open that lid, I would probably pass out, and if that thing even came close to me, it would be over!!
JB and I are going to lunch tomorrow, and am trying to talk her into making this wreath I saw on a blog...She said if wine was involved she'd do it...so I'll crack open a bottle!! Will post pictures of the event, it will be epic, as JB is NOT CRAFTY...her words not mine....

Do You Remeber These?

I was walking through Target today, and happened to see these...I remember these when I was a kid..Especially at my Grandmas' house..She would always have them at this time of the year, and when we were there to visit, we ate these..So to this day I buy these at this time of the year for my kids...I am sure it is horrible for you though, but it sure tastes good!

Hairy Things...

We laid low on Sunday, I woke up not feeling the best..so we just kinda hung out. That day I was planning to go to JB's house to try to help plan the Halloween thingy here in our neighborhood, which has not been very successful, I might add..but we cancelled as I was feeling yucky and her daughter had just been getting over the stomach bug, the same one Bella had on Friday and stayed home with....

later in the day I went by her house to drop off some artichoke dip, and we chatted while the girls played...Scott took Scotty to practice football with a couple boys and their dad on our team...as we left her house, Bella darted out ahead of me, which is really not a big deal, especially because we are in the sticks, and there is no real danger...except for this

We proceeded out to get a closer look at it, and YES it is a hairy gross brown disgusting tarantula....JB's husband Anthony, got it in a jar, which we took home...then Scott dumped him in the cracked turtle carrying cage...there he sits in all his glory...





Mind you, he is disgusting, and I jokingly told JB, that I would need 9 glasses of wine to be able to go to sleep tonight...While I did not drink any wine, I should have, because I woke up 6x having dreams about this disgusting thing...Someone help me..and the kids want to keep it, ya, of course they do....I don't think so...It will be going back to JB's, for Anthony to release into the wild, where it belongs....

Rainy Day Games...

It rained here Saturday morning as we left for a football game in Sanger...45 minutes from our house..at 7:15 in the morning..did I mention it was raining?





Did I also mention we had cheerleaders...in the rain?? We have some die hard girls, let me tell you!!They were also smart enough to take cover when it rained harder...




And then we have a Booey in the rain..It was not cold, and she was not about to sit under an umbrella for 2 hours, so thankfully I thought ahead and brought a change of clothes for all of them!!


We had fun, even though we were a little soggy...and did I mention they WON!!!
22 to 0...wooooohooooo!

Then on the way home we ate some mexican food, we tried a little place in the town before ours..only because it was close, and it was actually ok, for being close...Then we hung out at home the rest of the day, as I got lucky to wake up with a sore throat on Sunday morning!!

Irritating Internet Service..again

I am on Scott's laptop, and letting you know my home service is down....yet again! This part of country living, is irritating, to say the least.

I am now coming down with the sore throat gig, of course I am ....

We had a great football game that we actually won...we played in the rain, I'll post pics of it all, when the service is back up and running....

I have a gross post when the service comes back up, I don't know if I'll be able to sleep tonight..did yall see arachnophobia?

Good Intentions

While I HAD good intentions of a post of show and tell at Brynnes school with the turtle yesterday, she had a sub and I forgot my camera..

While I had good intentions of meeting up with my friend Susan at her house for coffee....Bella woke up throwing up this morning, and still is...

While I had good intentions of getting other things done today,FUN things done today.... they are now filled with sheet washing, lysol spraying and anything else that pertains to killing germs...

While I had good intentions to show you you some "stuff" I have been working on, the weather is gray with threatening rain, so not so good pictures....

I did however get Scotty back to school Wednesday...managed to drop off Mr. Turtle and snack for his class this morning, I do not for see much else being accomplished!!

We will see who makes it to the game tomorrow, I really want to go, there are only 3 games left....I can't believe it will be coming to a close soon...
