Legless

After last weeks torrential rain, it was time to mow. When Scott mows, you will come outside to see half mowed grasshoppers, legless grasshoppers, then you may also see strewn grasshopper body parts along the driveway.

My daughter managed to find this....

He is alive, without his back legs..she managed to grab him, only because he could not manage to escape, and proceeded to put him in the turtle carrier, that I got at walmart today..and bring him in the house. I was not overly concerned, knowing he could not get far...
Then I saw this...

She must get her ability to multi task from her mother. As for the grasshopper, he died this evening, am not sure if she killed him or the fact that he had no legs set in...but he is now dead.
